About Me As a kid, I was always captivated by the world of media whether it was taking pictures or watching stories unfold on screen. As growing up my passion for media helped me to work with many non-government community service organizations where I worked as media director. For me media is not just something you watch or consume but it is more a reflection of who you are and how you connect with the world are you. As it shapes identity  and acts a minor of society.   Planning Magazine Genre The word magazine comes from "makhazin" which is an arabic word meaning storehouse. The first magazine which was published between 1663 and 1668 by German theologian Johann Rist was Erbauliche Monaths - Unterredungen. It was started from early printed pamphlets, broadsides, chapbooks and almanacs. They are the form of media through which information is distributed. This can be aim to inspire, inform, educate and entertain audiences. Magazines are classified into genres with having broad areas. They are classified in terms of their target audiences.
